Capercaillie Lodge is a
traditional eight person pine lodge situated in the small hamlet
of Cragganmore, Speyside, close to the Rivers Spey and Avon.
Capercaillie Lodge has been decorated and
furnished to a very high standard complete with a wood burning
stove, to guarantee a warm welcome at any time of the year.
The Lodge stands in a
small hamlet of eight individually designed lodges and has a
private garden with uninterrupted views of the surrounding
countryside.
Situated in beautiful
Speyside, and close to the Cairngorm National park, activities
such as walking, golfing, mountain biking, horse riding,
fishing, and various winter sports are on your doorstep, while
the picturesque villages of Aberlour, Tomintoul and Grantown on
Spey are just a 15 minute drive away.
Ballindalloch is an area
of outstanding natural beauty, and the immediate area has a
wealth of attractions, including Ballindalloch Castle, the
Glenlivet Estate, and the Ski areas of Glenshee, Lecht and
Cairngorm.
Cragganmore Distillery is
on the Malt Whisky Trail, and there are an abundance of
distilleries (Tamnavulin, Aberlour and Cardhu to name but a
few!) within a 10 minute drive away.
