Capercaillie Lodge is perfectly located for Mountain Biking with hundreds of miles of tracks and trails for you to explore, including the 84 mile Speyside Way. The Moray Monster Trails are only a 15 minute drive away, or they can be reached by a 45 minute cycle along the Speyside Way.

Moray Monster Trails work as three independent centres, but you can join them up in any way you want as the three centres link to each other. Check out the Moray Mountain Bike Club for MTB rides and local trail information.

Ben Aigan is the closest of the three centres and offers two Red (difficult) routes The Ben Aigan Hammer and The Mast Blast, and one Black (severe) route The (pink fluffy) Bunny, you can download the trail map here.

Whiteash offers one Red (difficult) route The Fochabers Ring, and one Black (severe) route Fochabers Freeride, you can download the trail map here.

Ordiequish is more suitable for family’s as the routes are not as extreme as the two other centres. The following routes are located at Ordiequish; one Green (easy) route The Soup Dragon, two Blue (moderate) routes Gordzilla and The Haggis, and one Black (severe) route The Gully Monster, and a Skills Area, you can download the trail map here.
